Li et le Nouvel An spectalunaire! (Li and the Spectalunar New Year!)

*Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario (ETFO) Children’s Literature Award Winner* "Li et le Nouvel An spectalunaire!" is an inclusive story with fun activities to engage French language learners and celebrate Chinese Canadian heritage and the Lunar New Year! Pourquoi est-ce qu'on célèbre le Nouvel An lunaire? Li loves celebrating everything, but she especially looks forward to the Lunar New Year! However, when Li receives less lucky money than expected, she is disappointed. Qu'est-ce qu'elle va faire? Follow Li as she learns to reflect on the real joy of the celebration and finds a renewed sense of appreciation for her diverse customs.
